Uncanny
I got some lunch and this girl starts hanging around parading around my area, could have been nothing. I sat behind a pylon where nobody could see me and had lunch before going to sit in the park. Later I was coming home on the train and this really grungy type went upstairs. I sat, feet stretched out on the seat ahead of me trying to decide between tetris (its addictive godammit) my newspaper or a novel in the hope it/they would put me to sleep.
Before long the grungy type made the decision to sit in the next seat in an almost empty carraige. She smiles at me in a way that tried to engage me. Naturally I did what any great virile male would do, I put my head down and crouched down in my seat.
It amazes me how women have this uncanny ability to determine if they cant have you and begin flirting with you. Ive blogged about this before. Im not attractive man. But when I was single it was a rare moment. Now it seems common that strange girls say hello or sit next next to you on empty carraiges etc etc. I have other examples Ive wanted to blog about and the thoughts evaporated. It seemed to common to close down into a topic of conversation.
Anyway it interested me that this person had shoes that were half slippers, half shoes and made out of some sort of 80's canvas jacket material with a velcro strap. She wore these androgenous loose fit urban pants and had a shirt that looked like a torn piece of calico which barely frayed above her ballooning tits.
Her coloured hair was mostly coloured by a tye dye cloth. She was the epiome of grunge. I could never understood how grungy people could make bad pieces of clothing look grungy. Everyutime I used to try it Id just look like a dag with bad pieces of clothing. How do they manage to get clothes that have no inkling of matching wether it be a clash of fabrics styles or colours and blend them into urban legend. My attempts look like I was dressed by a blind person.
Anyway she fell asleep and snored the entire way. On arrival at my station (wed stopped several times before then) she woke up as if she could sense me getting up and..........
Women have an uncanny instinct that men dare not even think about. They are an alien force that we shall never understand. They scare me. Perhpas its why I chose to scrunge down in my seat and look away.
